Housing after incarceration in Northeast Ohio

A safe room and a key make the first weeks home easier. Grace Haven Living provides furnished transitional housing for people coming home, and we work with courts, probation officers and reentry programs to plan move-in before release.

How it works

  1. Referral. A reentry officer, court, program or family member sends a referral, or the person applies themselves.
  2. Payment plan. We look at what fits: their own income, SSI or SSDI, rapid rehousing through 2-1-1 Coordinated Intake, veterans programs, or one-time help for the deposit and first month.
  3. Move-in. Once payment is confirmed in writing, they move into a furnished room with utilities and Wi-Fi included.

What we ask partners for

A two-minute referral with the client's permission to share information, an expected release or move-in date, and any funding the program already has. More for case managers and officers.

What residents get

Grace Haven provides housing only. We don't provide treatment or medical care.
