Grace Haven Living is a private housing provider, not a government agency, and is not affiliated with HUD, a housing authority or the Continuum of Care. Programs, rules and funding change, so always confirm with the program itself.

Housing Choice Vouchers (often called Section 8)

Federal rental assistance run locally by the public housing authority. A voucher pays part of the rent to a private landlord who accepts it. Waitlists are common. Landlords like Grace Haven that accept vouchers are part of the picture.

The Continuum of Care (CoC)

HUD funds local Continuums of Care to run homeless services: street outreach, transitional housing, rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing. In Cuyahoga County, the county coordinates the CoC, and access to many CoC programs goes through Coordinated Intake.

Rapid rehousing

Short-term rental help and case management to move people out of homelessness quickly. Start with 2-1-1 Coordinated Intake.
